From YAL:

To apply for a Fall 2012 internship with Young Americans for Liberty, fill out the application below. YAL's internship is a full-time position located in Arlington, VA.

The internship begins August 27 and ends December 14 (dates are flexible). Unlike some organizations, YAL assigns more than entry-level work (though you will be given some).

Interns must complete important tasks which require them to manage their time, utilize their organization skills, and exhibit a strong work ethic. YAL is only interested in motivated, hard-working students who meet deadlines and are ready to perform immediately at a high level.

In many ways, working for YAL is a lifestyle and can open doors for you, especially if you want to work in the liberty movement. Only dues-paying YAL members committed to limiting government and advancing individual liberty will be considered.

The YAL internship pays $750 per month and requires you to live at the YAL House with the other interns in Alexandria, VA. Rent is free and includes all lodging expenses: electricity, cable, internet, and gas.

If you are an active member of YAL, then please apply by Friday, July 13.  All applicants will receive a response from YAL staff by Friday, August 3.

If you have any questions, please email internships@yaliberty.org.
